(We aren’t independent. We rely on our parents, our community, our religion, our friends, our malls, our planet. The deer symbolizes our independence, the four by four the speed at which we’re consuming without thinking, the hunter is the strangers behind these companies we rely on. )
I was just minding my own business when that four by four pulled up. There was something in the back, four hooves, frozen and stiff I think. The man shot it, dead. I needed that deer to live. I needed it to make it. We all need a bit of it to be alive. But nobody cares anymore, nobody even knows who we’re giving this deer too. I suppose its a little to late, I suppose we can’t really take it back. But what about all of the rest of the deers? What will we do with them? Protect them from those hunters, camouflaged, with pockets full of bullets and cheap smiles. All they want is to take the breath away from another being to make them feel in control. I hate them for taking away my innocence and making me buy into their ways. Its christmas, its dead deers, its religion, its living forests, its friends, its four by fours, its malls, its those guilty pleasures that make the world go round.
